Love Train By David Wilding (Monday 30th November 2009, mid-morning)
I'm on time
NEVER late
For this journey is the last
And I will not miss nor absent myself
On Love Avenue I will ride the train
Non-stop to your heart
And none other shall fake
Other stations pass by
Flashing through
But I do not see
For my destiny is but one
And she is there
Now
The time is coming
My heart beats
Just like this train
So full of pleasure
So free of pain
Your voice calls to me
"Don't be late! Wait for me!"
I sit
And contemplate
What is to be
Did I need a ticket?
No journey costs here
Only time
The currency of this express
And of that it is not free
Though it takes
It takes you to me
Other travellers here
Are few, like me
They ride the train
Another is their goal
Mine is my own
Theirs I do not see
A light
Light I see
Yes! Yes!
It is she!
She calls, calls to me!
Soon all will happen
I will be free!
Am I prepared?
What can I see?
Am I worthy ...
of what is to come
to me
