'Little' - by David Wilding
Little
By David Wilding (soon after 18th May, 2001)
His little feet are just so sweet
Those little hands, his fingers too
And when he's looking up at you
He surely knows that you are YOU!
I see him with his favourite toy
He's such a lovely little boy!
His favourite things are all so small
Will he be fat? Will he be tall?
Sometimes he seems to be obsessed
To GET THAT WATCH, to NOT BE DRESSED
It's funny that in one so young
He's such a determined little one
When that boy wants, he'll surely get
And if he don't, then YOU'LL REGRET!
The night is like the 'Twilight Zone'
It's dark - so what? Get up! Don't moan!
He's so little!
I don't want him bigger!!
'Dessert Spoon' - by David Wilding
- My needs are few All I need is just one thing And only time divides us now As I approach A good feeling comes over Like it is poured As a great dessert with custard To round off the meal Now I sit Pen in hand I write Words flow from me as freely as you ....
'Reflections Alone' - by David Wilding
- I am cold here. I sit here alone with my Habit, Sit and think of you, My only love. Where are you tonight? Do you wait? Do you hunger for me now? Are we to be together this night? Or is it another illusion of the moonlight? Another dream, a fantasy of our love. ....
'Forever Be' - by David Wilding
- The sun can set forever The moon may never rise And stars may be gone in a flash I will not worry or mind For I am with you If I should meet my maker tonight I will smile For I will be with you again Rise up to your cloud ....
'Temptation' - by David Wilding
- I know by now, Such places are wrong - they make no sense, Looking at what you can't have, And then thinking too much, Of what you'd like to do, To them. They see me? I look, they look away, It's too red, too bright, And they speak a foreign tongue. ....
