Eyes By David Wilding (Saturday 8th August, 2009, evening)
Piercing blue eyes,
Searching eyes, loving eyes,
Wanting and needing eyes.
Eyes to die for and never abandon
Have-and-Hold eyes
Eyes that will always enjoy me and be there
Eyes of my future
Eyes of ONLY YOU
Eyes stir our soul and soothe our minds
They bring Romance and Love.
Eyes can show Fear, show Love,
Stop whole armies in their stride
Eyes can Kill or make Peace
They make the world better
Eyes have power and passion in one
You cannot ignore the energy therein
Nor look away, nor forget
Eyes say so much, tell so many things
They are not just for seeing
Not only open and close
If I had to be
With eyes no more
If I could not see
You with me
What would I BE?
If I could not see ...
Your beautiful eyes at me
