About the FreePoetryOnline author (David Wilding)
David Wilding is an inspired part-time poet who works on inspiration-from-life terms only.
He has been writing on and off for more than ten years now -
maybe more but only since about 1996 has he put it down on paper (and online).
He is also the owner, webmaster and grand overseer of this and many other websites (NOT all poetry-related!).
All poems and poetry here may NOT be reprinted in any way without permission from the author.
HOWEVER, I WOULD like to get my poems into print or, at least, gain more recognition. Any takers?
So what does it take to create such poetry? The simple answer is "Life Itself".
Just relax, take a pen and paper and let your thoughts flow through your pen and do not stop until you dry up.
What you create may be nonsense or may be a masterpiece of literature. But you won't know until you TRY IT!
I rarely am satisfied with what I read right after creating it.
But then, when I reflect after a day or so and then read again, I see that what I create is many things.
It is from the heart, it is powerful and passionate. It is true feelings both positive and less positive.
It is what I go through and HAVE gone through and maybe am YET to go through.
What I write is LIFE and how it ebbs and flows like the tide of the sea.
YOU can do it too!
Just relax, open your mind and know that inspiration can hit at ANY TIME - day or night.
When that moment comes, do NOT DELAY! Get it down on paper and worry about how it looks later on.
